I'm Ryan (he/him). I'm a software engineer and musician. Currently I work at Silknode, where we're building tools and gathering places for creative professionals and the aesthetically minded. Previously I worked at Layers, helping to build a social and collaboration platform for musicians, and at IBM on machine learning infrastructure for Watson Assistant. I'm interested in music technology, NLP, Artificial General Intelligence, and responsible and process-based AI. I live in Brooklyn.

• MTXLN (2020): building a multitask DNN using XLNet. Built with Hugging Face.

• Colisten: a music recommendation algorithm based on community and collaboration networks, not poularity.
• 48k.club: my record label's website, built in React using Gatsby.

• Negativity bias in the spread of voter fraud conspiracy theory tweets during the 2020 US election (2021): conducted sentiment analysis on a dataset of ~7M tweets.
• Neuroscience Cloud Analysis As a Service (2021): deployed DeepGraphPose as a service on AWS.

I enjoy climbing, video games, and building stuff.
