Roadmap
WebAPI is a project which I am trying to use in our product software. I think using a large endpoint map is not a good idea for continuous development and maintenance. I think that if a product requires sustainable maintenance, using a low-level bottom layer is not necessarily a good thing. For collaboration, multiple complex code references and issues of registration isolation from actual methods are also unacceptable. So this is also a personal project to make coding happier.
I like the excellent practice of ASP.NET Core. So if I continue to work with Golang I will spare no effort to promote it. This project will remain active for some time to come. If a bug occurs in the code, it will be updated as soon as possible.
If you are interested in this project, why not join us! There are still many unfriendly compromises in the project that need to be adjusted. Perhaps your idea is even better.
This version is expected to be available by the end of July or early August. This version can be considered as the first milestone. In this version:
- All of functions need to be fully implemented.
- The release is based on the provision of stable and reliable continuous operation confirmation materials.
Although I know that performance is important for a Web base library, it is not a primary in this release, but there will be some more sophisticated and scientific assessments of performance in future releases.
It is expected that a swagger
extension will be available later in August, and some of the code is currently complete, but because this is the icing on the cake and not just needed, it is not so fast to meet you.
There may be more or less incompatibilities before the official release. Although I will try to reduce the occurrence of such problems, if you encounter, please bear with me.
