This commit introduces several improvements focused on memory efficiency, code quality, and performance optimization while maintaining backward compatibility: Code Quality: - Rename num_embed to vocab_size in TransformerConfig for consistency - Improve error messages for padding functions - Simplify deprecated Sampler class Memory Efficiency: - Optimize SamplingState to store only top-k logits - Add release_cache_memory utility function Performance: - Add early exit optimization to Transformer for completed sequences All changes preserve backward compatibility and existing functionality.
