Guidelines and rationale for church presentations

To keep corporate worship and sermon presentations running smoothly for Worship Leaders, Pastors, and Production teams, we’ve transitioned to using ProPresenter 7 with additional hardware across all Grace campuses. Here’s a quick refresher guide!

Audience Looks

How to use Audience Looks: Three standard looks are provided to handle the common cases: "HOUSE+STREAM", "HOUSE ONLY", and "STREAM ONLY". Use them as often as possible to manage which layers are dispatched to which outputs. These looks do not modify the theme. Ministries that require different layer configurations or different themes should create looks and prepend them with a short, ministry-specific tag, as in "GBC Sermon - Verse" or "JCT No Slide". Note that themes in slides should not be frequently changed for ministry, as this will disrupt existing slides.

House + Stream

Use this look for slides that require full-screen display on the stream, such as images or preformatted text. Previously titled “Image”, as used for fullscreen images. Picture-in-picture video display is sometimes preferable to allow the audience to see a speaker while the full-screen content is displayed. In these cases, consider "PiP UL" or another from the PiP family.

House only

Use this look to prevent anything and everything from being sent to the stream. Previously titled “Blank”.

Stream only

Use this look to prevent anything and everything from being sent to the stream. Previously titled “Blank”.

Worship

Presentation theme (Stream): Worship Use this theme over subtle backgrounds for worship lyrics. Note that the Worship theme will cover a significant portion of the stream screen, so do not use this look over camera feeds.

CCLI

Use this look for the first slide of a song only, where the CCLI has been added to the bottom right corner.
