LOD4Culture: World-wide Cultural Heritage in one click

LOD4Culture is a web application for the exploration of world-wide Cultural Heritage. It uses Linked Open Data from Wikidata and DBpedia.

These are some of the features of LOD4Culture:

  • The application can run in any device with a modern browser

  • Effective hiding of RDF/OWL/SPARQL

  • Interactive map for discovering Cultural Heritages sites

  • Adaptable to different zoom levels

  • Browser of Cultural Heritage entities

  • Seamless access to Cultural Heritage data from Wikidata and DBpedia

  • Powered by CRAFTS (Configurable REST APIs For Triple Stores)

  • Available in English and Spanish

Usage

LOD4Culture is a web application developed in Javascript. You can easily deploy it in your web server, but you need to set up your own CRAFTS API to access data sources.

Alternatively, you can just try a live version of LOD4Culture on https://lod4culture.gsic.uva.es/
