I've been using this extension and I noticed that contrary to the Atom extension, the current subroutine/function (where the cursor is) is not highlighted in the "Outline" pane of the Explorer. It does show up correctly at the top of the editor.
Is this a limitation of VSCode or could you tweak something in the extension so that the current symbol is highlighted in the "Outline" pane ? This would be very helpful!
