- Copy the attached (3DMesh_to_Geometry) folder (extracted) to the abaqus plugins folder.
- The geometry from the orphan mesh can then be created using Plugins in the part module (CAE).
- Edit and carefully read the .py (python script) file; fill in the needed variables based on your model.
- Run the python script in Abaqus.
