I think we should delete the PR, but not the branch... in general I would remove branches for stuff that is already in the master or stuff that didn't even managed to get done entirely |

Recreating the pull request with one VERY important addition without which the code cannot run. @J-L-O make sure that the added lines of code in the reset function are present otherwise the self.center_distance variable will be looked at before being assigned
