Are we required to purchase insurance coverage before submitting or application, or is this necessary only once / if we receive the RAILS grant? We will need to increase our insurance coverage but we'd prefer to do this if/when we are successful in our RAILS application and not before. Thanks!

The insurance coverage is not required as part of the application. If you are selected, you will need to have the insurance requirement met between the selection and contracting periods.

In short, you can wait to increase your coverage until after you are notified that you are selected.
