Hertz - Final
An incremental release from v1.0 purely for archival reasons.
Hertz
v1.0 of Pidora brings several improvements over the v0.1.
- Ported the whole project to Python. This removes the need of Apache and PHP
- Added initial volume control
- Added an API
- Added various improvements to the mobile interface including song explanation and station switching.
- Set it to build pianobar instead of downloading from the repos.

This release is named after Heinrich Hertz, a German physicist who became the first to prove the existence of electromagnetic waves. The scientific unit of frequency (cycles per second) was named "hertz" in his honor.

Hughes
First stable release of Pidora. Includes the ability to listen to Pandora via pianobar and plays NPR Hourly News. By querying the API, users receive a JSON object with song data allowing a variety of other apps or interfaces to be built.
This release is named after David Edward Hughes, co-inventor of the microphone and inventor of the spark-gap transmitter and the crystal radio.
