Non Standards

I'm old. So there.

For A I Use Why
Platform .NET Framework Because I like big libraries. When 5 is stable, and SQL Server supports it, I'll switch. And being cross-OS is not my idea of fun. To be the best at something, it has to be for that something.
OS Windows 10
.NET Version Latest 4+ Unless SQL Server 2019 chokes on it.
UI WinForms Not really relevant (for now) with SQLCLR code.
Packages NuGet Works, but can be weird and confusing, and get out of sync. I am trying to be adverse to adding packages without a point, though.
SQL variants SQLCLR Mostly :SETVAR to avoid typos, and allow hypothetical refactoring for anyone who doesn't want to call it MySQLCLRFunctions. I also use :R to keep some SQL scripts out of git, and then just run when I build.
IDE Visual Studio Latest As of now, 2019 16.7, and it rocks.
SQL IDE Visual Studio Better than SSMS at least for this kind of work. 18.5.
