What this app is

This app is designed to make collecting and reporting on data from a physical Kanban board easy and convenient.

If faced with a trade-off between data collection and reporting, then we favor data collection. After all, it is impossible to analyze on data we don't have.

What this app is NOT

• A general-purpose task management system
• A virtual/electronic Kanban board
• A tool to collaborate with remote teams who are using Kanban
• General data analysis or reporting
• General data tracking system

Stuff we don't need

• Security and authentication -- we don't think this is needed. Kanban is for teams and promotes team ownership of the dev process and tasks. As such, ether the entire team should have full access to the data, or no one should have access to the data.
