This is just about exactly what I had in mind—very qBittorrent like. It looks great overall. I did like that the current UI looked a bit like a native macOS preferences window, but this is a much better UI

I do wish the icons looked a little bit less.. generic? Maybe a little bit smaller? That is vague but just some quick thoughts.

Another thought: It looks a little bit unnatural on macOS at least that this inner frame is completely square—is that really the default? Is there some other widget that might look more natural? Can we not have any frame at all?

Looking again at qBittorrent i think this mockup looks better to be honest (don't tell them I said that)
