Feature overview

The Anitra Companion app provides multitudes of features for fieldwork support, namely:

• Signing in, first step to access all of your trackings,
• Map display, to show all trackings associated with your account,
• Filtering, to limit the amount of visible trackings based on various user-selected criteria,
• Map layer selection, to display tracking data over various map sources (satellite, tourist maps...),
• Tracking list, to display the list of filtered / non-filtered trackings in a table,
• Tracking detail in map, to display basic overview of the last position of the tracking,
• Tracking detail, expanded view of the tracking's attributes,
• Tracking gallery, to display images associated to the trackings,
• Tracking track display, showing last positions and track of the tracking's device,
• Off-line area download, to download an off-line map area,
• Current location display, to display your current position in the map,
• Manual refresh, to get the newest data from Anitra.

Each feature has its own page explaining how to use it and its possible limitations. All features will be explained in due time, but to understand how to use them, basic overview of the interactions must be explained to establish a common vocabulary.
