##Customization: The script which used to incrementally install applications based on user input has been converted into a straight line code that does the job hands-free. Several opensource software of interest to the Scientific computing community have been added. The GNOME desktop environment is also installed along with the script.

Run from source folder:
bash ubuntu-post-install-script-14.04.sh

Ubuntu Post Install Script is a simple bash script for installing a set of applications of interest to the scientific computing community on a fresh Ubuntu installation –installing favourite applications, setting up configurations, etc.
It is compatible with both 32 and 64 bit architectures
