script.video.mkvripper is now very robust in terms of error checking all disc-ripping-related operations within itself. A progress bar now gets updated as makemkvcon rips continue to execute. Up next and marking the final release: Backgrounding rip processes. Enjoy this pre-release.

Alpha 1

MKVRipper v0.1.0 is fully functional within a Linux-based Kodi 14.x Helix environment, provided the user has separately installed and activated MakeMKV on their machine. It's a bit rough around the edges, and more error checking certainly needs to be built into the script, but you can smoothly start and stop disc rip operations, control save locations for ripped files, and view the output that would typically come from makemkvcon from within the Kodi environment. Enjoy this pre-release.
