Subsetting genomes for plotting

After uploading your own data or selecting one of the built in datasets you can use the side panel on the left to select subsets of genomes to be displayed in the plots:

  • Species: Use the radio buttons to select and deselect species of interest. Numbers in parentheses indicate the total number of genomes represented by the species.
  • Scores: Click and drag your curser over the heatmap to select genomes by their resistance and virulence scores. This is a quick and easy way to explore isolates of particular clinical interest e.g. those carrying extended-spectrum beta-lactamase genes (resistance score = 1, or greater) or carbapenemase genes (resistance score = 2, or greater); those carrying a virulence plasmid (virulence score >= 3); or those displaying evidence of virulence-AMR convergence (resistance score >= 1 and virulence score >= 3).
