The Fire Event Data Suite-Polygon Evaluation and Comparison (FEDS-PEC) v1.0.0 is now available!
FEDS-PEC is a specialized Python module designed to expedite the numerical comparison of fire perimeter products derived from various mapping methods. In this release, the module is tailored to compare NASA’s FEDS fire perimeter product against those from key stakeholder agencies and user-inputted datasets, facilitating long-term performance assessments and aiding NASA researchers in refining the FEDS algorithm.
