Have not considered this way.. I totally get it. (from other point of view it's just a prefix to make understand that we are talking about kubernetes hybrid cloud, not some other hybrid cloud) The main reasoning behind such project birth is that lot of people needs to run hybrid cloud (cloud/bare metal combination) and with current tooling it's challenging, so this group would be mostly for knowledge sharing) I will talk with author of project to understand if we are willing to change something. If you have ideas to use different approach with naming i'm all ears. |
I agree with @Atoms. The name was chosen only to make it easier to find. I couldn’t find any community resources using the phrase “kubernetes hybrid cloud”. So, what is your advice @BenTheElder? How should we name this group? |
