Licensing information (CC BY) SHOULD only be contained within the Resource Use and Metadata Use 'licence' field of the object metadata file, but inconsistency in the completion of metadata means that references to licensing under CC can feature in any Metadata Constraints> Legal Constraints field, including Resource Use and Metadata Use 'copyright' field, and across all Resource Access and Metadata Access fields.
- Documents - these will be updated manually
- Sets - these will be updated manually
- Datasets licensed under an alternative license (i.e. Personal Data or Pending Approval license) - make no change
- Where no license information is recorded in the metadata file - make no change
