seed_as_parameter: takes random seed as external parameter instead of hardcoded constant
nyear_write: defines an external variable to control the year to start writing output from
vegstruct_output: Create output modules for subgridcell output (individuals or patches)
dist_as_input: inputs disturbance probability as yearly input data instead of a constant probability
mortality_output: adds information to flux.out about cause of mortality event
hwds_patch: applied patch to read in harmonized world soil database map instead of standard soil map
