The aim of the workshop is to showcase how a Lambda function can consume messages from an SQS Queue, make a call to AWS Rekognition with the details from the SQS Queue message, retrieve the response, manipulate it and store the key data in a DynamoDB table, and finally send an SMS via AWS SNS.
