HR Attrition Analysis

Overview

This project analyzes employee attrition within a company using data visualization and dashboarding tools. The analysis is based on key factors such as gender, department, education, salary, age, and job role. Dashboards created in Excel and Power BI provide interactive insights to help the company improve employee retention strategies.


Objectives

Data Features

The dataset contains the following key attributes:

  • Gender: Male, Female
  • Department: IT, Sales, HR, etc.
  • Education: High School, Bachelor's, Master's, etc.
  • Salary: Monthly/Annual income
  • Age: Employee age in years
  • Job Role: Position/Title within the company

Methodology

  1. Data Cleaning

    • Prepare the dataset in Excel by handling missing values and formatting.
  2. Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)

    • Identify trends using Excel charts and pivot tables.
    • Explore data relationships using Power BI visualizations.
  3. Dashboard Creation

    • Excel: Create interactive pivot charts and slicers for quick filtering.
