Arial 应该也属于中文的安全字体（https://zh.wikipedia.org/zh-cn/Arial_Unicode_MS）。最佳的做法是修改英文文档，使其包含有关 Unicode 的说明。我并不是非常赞成对于本地化的内容分别添加额外的说明（也有不少读者会直接阅读英文文档，而且 MDN 目前支持的本地化语言有限）

MDN 的本地化语言包括日语、韩语，还有就是我上面所说的，字体问题绝不仅仅是中文环境需要考虑的问题，这是国际化所必须涉及的。建议修改英文文档。
