Bring Back Plus/Minus Version 1.1

Adds support for Visual Studio 2022 17.12, which broke the plus/minus symbol colors in version 1.0 of this extension. To avoid this kind of break in the future the updated version 1.1 now includes its own color definition. It also restores the gray background in the collapsed state (plus symbol) and continues to use a transparent background for the expanded state (minus symbol) just like it was originally in older versions of Visual Studio.

Blue Theme:

BringBackPlusMinus-1 1

Dark theme:

BringBackPlusMinusDark-1 1

Furthermore, the updated version now supports customizing the plus/minus symbol's fore- and background colors via Outlining Margin Plus/Minus settings in the Fonts and Colors section of the Tools/Options dialog:

BringBackPlusMinusOptions-1 1

First public release

This extension brings back the plus/minus symbols to the editor outlining feature of Visual Studio 2022 17.9 and later. Simply install this extension and the plus/minus symbols in the editor outline will be back. Simply disable or uninstall this extension and the default outlining symbols will be restored.

Since the original colors are no longer part of Visual Studio it uses the new chevron foreground color for its foreground and the subtle collapse hint adorner background color as the background for the collapsed state.
