we recently saw a bug in the new data importing feature where unclassified sequences/otus at a particular taxonomic level were producing non-unique colnames in the resulting collection. along the way i noticed another bug where square brackets in labels/ names for taxa was causing them to be treated as unclassified. both are fixed and tested for here.
