Moodle is the World's Open Source Learning Platform, widely used around the world by countless universities, schools, companies, and all manner of organisations and individuals.
Moodle is designed to allow educators, administrators and learners to create personalised learning environments with a single robust, secure and integrated system.
Please note that the code branch for Moodle 4.6 in this repository is a Short-Term Support release and should preferably not be used in production as it is intended for testing purposes only. This special release is intended to give a stable code for testing the restructure of the Moodle Question Banks to utilise a module (mod_qbank) enhancing the ability for question banks to be shared across a whole institution.
The repository is Moodle 4.5.1 + MDL-71378 with no other code improvements or enhancements over Moodle 4.5.
As a Short-Term Support release, this release will only be supported for general core bugs, security-related issues and bugs related to MDL-71378 until the Moodle 5.0 release (14th April 2025). Beyond Moodle 5.0 any security or other fixes will be assessed individually on an as needs basis only.
General bugs and issues related to this version can be reported in Tracker and should be tagged against Moodle 4.5 and reproducible against that version. Issues related to MDL-71378 should be reported in Tracker and the “affected version” should be listed as 5.0.
