    • kickoff meeting (23-24 March)
      • executive board meeting was postponed (to Fri 17 Feb)
      • agenda/start time unclear
      • Ljubljana is difficult to get to from some places
        • airport in Trieste is a good option, bus service to Ljubljana
      • Alan will try and get an all-hands online meeting early March
      • opportunity to let new project manager at NIC introduce themselves
      • curious out hiring process, who's actually working on the project
      • intro presentation on EESSI, incl. demo (ideally using one of key apps in MXS)
    • no website yet, responsibility of NIC
    • poster at EuroHPC summit week
      • Alan submitted a poster
      • Thomas volunteered to present poster, Elisabeth will be there too (also for other project)

    • highlights:
      • Created separate test-suite repo, ingested the version of GROMACS ReFrame test that was there
      • Expand on the GROMACS test to make this a blueprint for other tests (see this PR)
    • T1.3 Design and creation of a software test suite and facilitating CI for software developers
      • Actively involved: Sam (VUB), Caspar, Satish, Kenneth

  • WP5: status update
    • lead: UGent
    • highlights:
    • T5.3 (D5.1 - M12) Facilitating community contributions to the central software stack
      • actively involved: Thomas, Jonas (UiB), Kenneth (UGent), Bob (RUG)
      • semi-weekly status meetings, tuesdays (17/01, 31/01, 14/02)
        • ~10 PRs merged: improvements, bug fixes, unit tests, improved interplay with software-layer, 1st version of eessi_container.sh
        • ongoing work: documentation and improved eessi_container.sh, bot/build.sh for software-layer
        • bot in use for EESSI (on AWS cluster, KH & TR) and NESSI (on 4+1 clusters, 5 users); bot can build for different EESSI-like repositories in parallel

        • Thu, 19 Jan 2023: let bot build anything that provides a bot/build.sh script
