The simplest way to install NiceHash QuickMiner is by using Installer which also gives you the option to install this prerelease RC version. If you have issues, then download ZIP package.

ATTENTION! THIS VERSION REQUIRES NVIDIA DRIVER VERSION 511.09 OR HIGHER!

The new LHR unlock algorithm may unstabilize the NVIDIA driver (drivers shall restart automatically).

  • Increased stability of the LHR unlock system (increased CPU usage for LHRv3 cards).
  • Removed the old LHR unlock system and all associated functionalities in QM/OCtune.
  • Modified /quickstart API so it can start and stop with no provided parameters to include that logic in OCtune.
  • The LHRv3 unlock system has two algorithms: the first leading to a faster hash rate and the second being more stable. The default algorithm is the fastest one, switch to the more stable one can be achieved by using "-CLS" in the Excavator command line.
  • Fan control for NVidia cards is reverted to the "slope" model as the PID fan control acts too heretically with high VRAM temperature.
  • The NVidia minimum driver version is raised to 511.09. The latest version of the driver disables the LHR unlock system. The recommended driver version for the LHR unlock system is 512.77.
