⛅Nodejs Daily Weather App

A nodejs app that can get daily weather data from any city

✔Installation

1) Clone or download the repository

git clone https://github.com/nuckarronjones/11ty-Netlify-Blog-Template

2) Navigate to the Directory

git cd [path name]

3) Install the dependencies

npm install

4) Insert API key

• Create a .env folder in the base directory, and populate API_KEY={your key}. You can obtain an API key from the following link https://openweathermap.org/.
• Please note, newly created API keys may take up to 2 hours to create and funciton.

5) Run the application using the following command.

node app

🤩User Interface

• Once you get the confirmation the server is running, navigate to localhost:3000 on any internet browser
• Simply type in a city into the searchbox to view weather data
