Here we provide information on how a uploaded ERC is inspectable in OJS by using the OJS-ERC-Plugin!

Reviewer

For assigned reviewers three components which are related to the ERC can be reviewed.

  • First, the initial workspace.zip uploaded by the user.
  • Second, the ERC-HTML-ERCID.html, which is the main html of the ERC.
  • Third, the ERC-Galley-ERCID.html which shows the ERC in the usual o2r-service view.

Aditionally at a later stage of the review process a preview of the final article view is available. Within this view the two buttons ERC-HTML and ERC-Galley are available, which make the ERC inspectable, both, in terms of the main html and the usual o2r-service view.

Reader

For a reader of a journal in which a article including an ERC is published, the ERC is viewable in the same way as for the Reviewer in the preview, only now it is no longer a preview.

Thus the OJS-ERC-plugin not only enables to create ERCs in the OJS submission process but also to inspect and manipulate them as reviewer or reader of the journal.
