The BAPS FAQ troubleshooting
Before attempting to run any version of MCR installer.exe or to unzip the MCR package in Mac or Linux, ensure that you have downloaded the file completely (sizes are given on the download pages). When downloading from a very remote location (say Australia) under heavy internet traffic, the download time may exceed the limit set by the server. In such cases the installer file will not be downloaded completely and is therefore not functional. However, your browser will likely not inform you about this event.
If the download process repeatedly fails, use our backup location to get the correct MCR installer file.
Make sure that your computer has the latest upgrade of X11 application available from Apple's webpages. BAPS will not be functional without that.
