This page should help you navigate all aspects regarding the grants & funding process.

Key Acitvities

Claim Deadline
You must claim the grant within 3 weeks of winning a grant.

Signed Hash
You will need the [Signed Hash] found inside of the OceanDAO Proposal Airtable to claim your grant. This will be available as soon as funding is completed.

Required Parameters
Your proposal inside Port need to provide all required parameters found below for your Signed Hash to be generated. This should be automatically provided by submitting all required fields inside of the Proposal Template

Any wallet can claim
Anyone can pay for claiming the grant. However, the grant will be deposited via ETH mainnet to the original wallet registered in the proposal.

Claiming your grant

  1. If you have been awarded an OCEAN grant, a [Signed Hash] will be generated for your proposal that can be found inside of Airtable.
  2. You should verify that the [Signed Hash] has not yet been claimed by looking at the [TX] column inside of Airtable.
  3. You will then be required to login via a Web3 wallet (Metamask or WalletConnect) inside of our Web3 Tools portal.
  4. You will then be able to paste the [Signed Hash] and pay for the transaction to claim your grant. Please notice the important details mentioned above.

Required Parameters

All proposals inside of Port must include all mandatory fields from the Proposal Template, including the details below:

  • Project lead full name
  • Email address
  • Your country
  • Description of grant reason
  • Funding requested (USD)
  • ETH Wallet address

Final Details

  • It may take 1-2 days after voting ends to fund the claiming contract.
  • In case you need it, the OPF’s tax number is: 201729912W.
