Under this release, you will find a link to a file with a '.apk' file extension. Tap on this link to download the file, and wait for the download to complete.

  3. Open the file. If your web browser is not permitted to install applications, you will get a system dialog that tells you so. install-from-unknown-sources-not-permitted-dialog-example-image
If you see this, tap the settings link in the dialog to be taken to the settings page for the app. Flip the switch to allow your browser to install applications.

  4. Once the switch is flipped (or immediately upon opening the file) you will be presented with a system dialog asking if you wish to install Quik. Tap on 'Yes' or 'Install', whichever is present. Quik should now install, and will shortly be ready for your first run of the app.

Updating Quik from GitHub

To keep Quik up to date and make use of the latest features, you will need to manually and periodically check the releases page here on GitHub, and if a new version is available, install it using the above steps.
For this reason, we reccomend using an application like Obtanium to automatically check for and install updates to Quik.
