• run sync-uspas.sh to download the optimization script solver_example.py
• copy it from Practice/Tuesday to MyWork
• run it with jython
• change optimization algorithm and see if it affects the outcome

Run sync-uspas.sh to download Slit_Virtual_Accelerator.py and a helper script moveTo.py You have to launch Slit_Virtual_Accelerator.py and leave it running - it is your virtual accelerator with slit signals.

If you want to move slit position 10.0

jython moveTo.py 10.0
