MovieMap

This webapp was created as a project for my Masthers, it is a Map that contains information about movies, displaying pins on map on the cities that it was filmed. It allows searching from movie name and categories, search only by category or by Country.

Architecture

This project contains two sub-projects, the ui and backend.

UI

The ui is made using Angular JS using Google Material design.

Backend

The backend is made in Java Spring using the RDF NoSQL database Stardog.

This database supports SPARQL queries and OWL 2 inference.

Prerequisites

• Node.js - Node.js® a JavaScript runtime
• AngularJS - AngularJS is a toolset for building the framework most suited to your application development.
• Java - Java 8+
• Spring - Spring Framework provides a comprehensive programming and configuration model for modern Java-based enterprise applications
