This is the first pre-release version of NWQ-Sim. It supports the simulation of quantum circuits that:
- runs on CPU, OpenMP, MPI
- runs on single NVIDIA GPUs (CUDA)
- runs on multiple NVIDIA GPUs with NVSHMEM
- runs on single AMD GPUs (HIP)
This release includes environment setup instructions and documentation for Frontier, Summit, and Perlmutter HPC systems. It leverages CPU, OpenMP, MPI, CUDA, NVSHMEM, and HIP to provide flexibility in execution. Multi-node cluster version with AMD GPUs is yet to support.
This initial version is intended for testing and feedback. Please file any issues found during testing as we work towards a full stable release.
