Setting Up
After installing the application, Setup form will be displayed so you can get started. This is a one time process only and will not be asked again once done.

You can configure the network that you will be using before logging in. To do so, just click the button to launch the "Network Configuration" pop-up.

- Network Dropdown – allows you to select the network that you wish to configure.

Nodes Textbox – allows you to input the name of the node that you wish to add to the network. To add the inputted node, just click the
icon next to it.

Nodes List – this displays the list of nodes that are associated to the selected network. You can select a node in the list then click the
icon to remove it or the icon to reorder it.

IPFS Server Textbox – allows you to input the name of the IPFS server that you wish to add to the network. To add the inputted server, just click the
icon next to it.

IPFS Server List - this displays the list of IPFS servers that are associated to the selected network. You can select a server in the list then click the
icon to remove it or the icon to reorder it.
- OK Button – clicking the button will save the changes made in the configuration and dismiss the pop-up.
- Cancel Button – clicking the button will dismiss the pop-up but will not save the changes made in the configuration.
If you have your private key and wish to use it, you may do so by ticking the "Private Key" checkbox and provide the private key in the newly enabled field. Once provided, agree to the ProximaX Notes Terms by ticking the checkbox then click OK button.
If in case you have a private key but lost it, you can still recover it if you have agreed to save it in ProximaX Central Data and setup your security questions. To proceed, just click the icon beside the Private Key field to display the Recovery form. Just fill out the form then click Recover button to start recovery process. If validated correct, you will receive an email about your private key and account details.
If you don't have a private key, just leave the "Private Key" checkbox unchecked then agree to the ProximaX Notes Terms by ticking the checkbox. You can then click the OK button to access the app. When doing this step, the system will generate a new private key for you which you need to keep safe so you can recover your account anytime.
Once you are done setting up your account, you will be redirected immediately to the Main Application.
