Welcome to the Doko Demo Issyo PSP translation/modding wiki!
Here I will try to document the game's many proprietary file formats, how to read and edit things in them, and how to put your changes back into a working copy of the game. This is the process used for most of the language translation in the parent project.
The translation project does not condone the illegal distribution of the original game files made by Sony/BeXide, and all our work should be shared through the use of xdelta patch files containing only our freely licensed changes to the game. (See Build instructions for how to convert your changes to a xdelta file for allowed distribution.)
This project was started due to the gatekeeping of Doko Demo Issyo games and merchandise in the Japan region, making it very difficult for people outside of Japan to enjoy them. If Doko Demo Issyo products are ever officially released in your country, please support the amazing team of people behind this game series by purchasing new official products if you can.
