@Starbuck5 think this PR is worth backporting to the 2.5.6 branch before the release? The bump would upgrade 3.14 from rc3 to full release (which doesn't make any significant difference) and also raises/fixes the minimum macos version on mac 3.14 wheels (which I'm not sure how important the fix is)
