I'm Quentin, data scientist and ecologist. I'm the Southeast Area Statistician for the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service, located on the campus of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. I work with datasets about everything from Georgia peaches π to Hawaiian bees π to Arkansas groundwater π to Florida sugarcane π! I joined USDA in October 2021. - β My favorite past project was all about impacts of food waste and diet on global biodiversity (see Shiny app here). I also am proud to have maintained the rslurm R package for four years.
