I started something similar a while ago https://github.com/rabbitmq/rabbitmq-dotnet-client/pull/1740/files but never got the chance to fully follow through yet

Thanks everyone. I've made some changes if you'd like to look at this again. I'm hoping to get 7.2.0 out this week.

@lukebakken did you have a chance to look at the PR I started? By floating through the token into the args I think it wouldn't be necessary to expose the channel token on the interface
