Hi! I’m Roger Gillis, a librarian and digital humanist at Dalhousie University. My diverse background includes: in Archives, Scholarly Communication, Atlantic Canadian history, and digital humanities. My current interests include: open licensing in cultural heritage, public history, and project management for digital humanities projects.
I have an MLIS from the Dalhousie School of Information management and an MA in History (with a focus in Digital Humanities [or Humanities Computing as it was known \‘back in the day\’]. I’ve also taught research skills for undergraduate students and digital collections for graduate library and information studies.
