Dev server is working locally, but the deployed one is getting into a loop/oom.
The backend worked at first, it built and deployed, then didn't, just as I was about to isolate the frontend problem (think it is something with the tabs, look for errors console.log locally)
This PR is just notes to future attempts, or maybe it's time to just rewrite and ditch some things
