Installing Mondtholomew using Meters on Demand

If you have the Meters on Demand package manager installed, you may use the following command to install Mondtholomew:

mond install reisir/mondtholomew

Installing Mondtholomew manually

  1. Install Rainmeter.

  2. Get the newest .rmskin from releases .

image

  1. Run the .rmskin installer.

  2. Read through the installer. If you do not deselect the "Load included layout" checkbox, Rainmeter will load the included Mondtholomew layout and override any other skins you had loaded. This does not remove the skins you had, just unloads them. If you do not have skins loaded or want to load the Mondtholomew layout, leave the checkbox selected.

  3. Click install.

If double clicking the .rmskin file prompts you to select a program to open it with, you have either not installed Rainmeter (start from the beginning) or you installed Rainmeter in portable mode. Portable mode is for experienced users and is not recommended. You should remove the portable install and install Rainmeter in normal mode. If you insist on using portable mode, you can install .rmskin packages by drag n dropping them onto SkinInstaller.exe found in the Rainmeter install directory. You may also choose that program in the Windows "open with" dialogue.

Getting help using Mondtholomew (and Rainmeter in general)

Please first read this wiki. If the answer is not found or your issue is related to Rainmeter itself, join the Rainmeter discord and ask in the #help channel. I would prefer if you used this method of getting help, instead of opening an issue here on GitHub.

Reporting bugs / making feature requests

Open an issue here on GitHub and describe the bug and the steps to reproduce it. If you have a feature request, please describe the way you would want the feature to function and the reason why it should be added (eg. why it's useful).
