DG (Donald Graft) unexpectedly (but with welcome arms) started making changes to his original codebase for DGMpgDec!

All further changes to DGMpgDec DGIndex that has a source code release I will push to the master branch. All code for the original v1.x codebase has been archived to the v1 branch and most likely won't be updated any further.

This is quite unexpected since DGIndex can be considered outdated by DG himself since he's created DGDecNV which can do everything DGIndex can but more, including support for AVC. If you want to know more and support DGDecNV you can find out more about it here: http://rationalqm.us/dgdecnv/dgdecnv.html

If DGIndex helped you in any way, consider supporting Donald by heading here and scroll down for donation information.

Official Changelog from v1.5.8 to v2.0.0.x

  1. Rebuilt with Visual Studio 2019.

  2. A 64-bit executable of DGDecode is now included (derived from fork by Asd-g).

  3. DGDecode now works with Avisynth 2.6 and Avisynth+.

While this is the final version of the Donald's original DGIndex codebase, he has moved on and updated it for newer codec support and extra features, it's more geared towards newer AVC streams (e.g. Blu-ray content) rather than MPEG (e.g. DVD content).

You can find out more about Donald's updated codebase called DGDecNV here.

Edit: Donald seems to have gone back and started making v2.x releases. These seem to be some small bug fixes and modernization of the source code and compilation process.
