We discuss patient IDs for the R-LiNK project.

Recruitment and acquisition sites

Recruitment and acquisition sites are uniquely identified by a 2-digit string and a standardized name:

ID NAME Recruitment Acquisition site
01 FERNAND-WIDAL AP-HP Hôpital Fernand-Widal
02 COLOMBES AP-HP Hôpital Louis-Mourier
03 BESANCON INSERM Centre hospitalier régionnal universitaire de Besançon
04 DRESDEN Technische Universität Dresden Universitätsklinikum Carl Gustav Carus
05 MUENCHEN LMU München Klinikum der Ludwig-Maximilians-Univesität München
06 FRANKFURT Universitätsklinikum Frankfurt am Main
07 BARCELONA-IDIBAPS Institut d'Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer
08 BARCELONA-IMIM Institut Hospital del Mar d'Investigacions Mèdiques
09 LONDON King's College London
10 NEWCASTLE Newcastle University
11 COPENHAGEN Københavns Universitet
12 GOTHENBURG Göteborgs universitet
13 OSLO Universitetet i Oslo
14 BERGEN Universitetet i Oslo
15 MILAN Università degli Studi di Milano
16 BRESCIA Università degli Studi di Milano

Patients

Patients are uniquely identified by a 6-character string, starting with the 2 digits identifying the recruitment centre followed by a dash and the 3 digits of the sequence number of patients within their recruitment centre. For example patient 99 from GOTHENBURG would be identified as:

12-099

Time points

The project has two main time points, for MRI acquisition and biological samples collection. Each time point is identified by a 3-character string, starting with M for month:

ID Time point
M00 Before lithium initiation
M03 12 weeks after lithium initiation

Samples and data

Biological samples and data collected at a specific point in time are uniquely identified by a 10-character string, the 6-character patient identifier followed by a dash and the 3-character identifier of the time point. For example samples obtained from patient 99 from GOTHENBURG 12 weeks after lithium initiation would be identified as:

12-099-M03

Time series are not associated to a specific point in time and are simply identified by the 6-character patient identifier.
