Recruitment and acquisition sites are uniquely identified by a 2-digit string and a standardized name:

Patients are uniquely identified by a 5-digit string, starting with the 2 digits identifying the recruitment centre followed by the 3 digits of the sequence number of patients within their recruitment centre.
