5.4 Summary of Geology Sampling

Assisted Geology Sample Instructions App

• The App will provide the following:
  • Inform the user which site to collect samples from.
  • Provide comprehensive and logically ordered directions on how to collect and document (photos and audio notes) geology samples.
    • Options will be available for Regolith and Rocks.
    • There will be separate instructions for Regolith and Rocks.
  • Display a picture of the tool needed for gathering and storing geology samples.
  • Update Geology Science sampling procedures if needed (update will be handled using a cloud service).
• The app will adhere to the following:
  • The instructions will not obstruct the users field of vision
  • Instructions will be readable
  • Small focused Geology Sampling instructions instead of large paragraphs
