New Features

Automatic speccing

  • You now have the ability to generate a duplicate set of artboards with specs for any page in your document. Current specs include spacing specs (padding and margin) and component and variant names, with many more to come.
  • Note: For documents with many layers, this process may take a while — typically around 60 seconds for every 1500 layers. We recommend saving your work before running the speccing command and only running it on fairly simple pages (less than 5 artboards, with less than 1,000 layers per artboard). You may see the spinning beach ball of death while waiting. We’re actively working on improving performance with each beta release.
  • To use: open the plugin using ‘⌘j’, then navigate to any page in your sketch document and press ‘⌘/’.
